BTS' Jin Discharged from Military, Welcomed Back by Fellow Members
Kim Seok-jin, known as Jin, has completed his mandatory 18-month military service in South Korea and returned to civilian life on June 12.
The 31-year-old singer and actor was greeted by his fellow BTS members upon his discharge, in a heartwarming display of love and support.
Jin, the eldest member of the popular boy band, enlisted in December 2022 as part of his mandatory military service. He was assigned to the frontline unit in Yeoncheon-gun, near the border with North Korea.
Fans gathered outside the military base to celebrate Jin's discharge, waving banners and cheering him on. Security personnel were also present to ensure a smooth and orderly return.
Jin's military service has been a topic of significant interest among BTS fans worldwide. His discharge marks a major milestone for the band and its fans, who have eagerly awaited his return.
